About Us

EMS Technology Solutions, LLC has provided web-based inventory management and asset management software as a solution specific to public safety since 2006. In 2007 EMS Technology Solutions released AmbuTrak Inventory and Asset Management to provide real time inventory control management for Fire Departments, Ambulance Services, Universities and Public Safety Agencies. In 2012 they expanded the AmbuTrak product offering with integrated Fleet Management software. In 2013 Operative IQ was released to replace AmbuTrak as the flagship software.

Operative IQ clients can take comfort in knowing the system was developed with input from hundreds of industry professionals. The Operative IQ team comes equipped with more than 40 years of experience in the emergency medical services field. Through its customer partnerships EMS Technology Solution is able to test their web-based inventory management and asset management software in real-time situations and continually monitor them for new applications that meet customer’s needs.

The designers of Operative IQ made sure they kept the end user in mind, delivering a product that is easy to use and offers immediate cost savings with minimal investment. Crew members in the field receive user-friendly software that saves valuable time, while administrators get a powerful reporting tool that allows them to know with certainty where they’re spending their dollars.

President / COO

As a founding member of EMS Technology Solutions, E.J. has played a critical role in the development of the inventory, asset and fleet management tools used in the Operative IQ software. E.J.’s background in information management with Sara Lee Corporation, Eastman Kodak and a start up software development company made him a natural choice to lead the development efforts at EMS Technology Solutions. In 2009, he was named President and Chief Operating Officer of EMS Technology Solutions, allowing him to take further responsibility for the overall growth of the company’s growing services. E.J. is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Masters in Business Information Systems. He enjoys playing competitive golf, autocross racing and spending time with his beautiful wife Kathryn and two little boys.

Jimmy SquibbsJimmy Squibbs
Sales and Support Manager

Jimmy Squibbs, an alumnus of Eastern Michigan University, is an enthusiastic part of the Operative IQ team. Born and raised in Dearborn Michigan, Jimmy enjoys spending summers at Torch Lake. He is focused and determined to help Public Safety Agencies leverage Operative IQ to improve their operations. When Jimmy isn’t working with agencies across America, he loves to talk, watch or play sports like football, hockey, golf and baseball, and enjoy life to the fullest with his wife and three happy children. He currently resides in beautiful Marietta Georgia.

Lisa RaineyLisa Rainey
Sales and Support Manager

Lisa became an integral part of the Operative IQ sales and support team in 2010. Raised in Florida, she now resides in the Atlanta area with her husband and two wonderful children. Lisa is committed to showing agencies what Operative IQ can do to streamline the inventory process, make things easier on crew members, and reduce operating costs. She is dedicated to partnering with her customers across the country using Operative IQ and is always willing to lend a hand. A Clemson University grad that began her sales career at Michelin Tire in Texas, Lisa stays very busy with her kids’ T-ball games, BMX races, Girl Scout events & Cheer competitions, and enjoys hanging out with family and friends.

Oksana Semenska

Oksana was born in the Ukraine and moved to the USA in 2000 with her family. Oksana has a Masters in Applied Mathematics and has completed post graduate work, publishing multiple articles in science magazines. She worked as a teacher at the University level and as a software project manager before joining the EMS Technology Solutions Team. Her end user focused technical leadership is a huge asset to the management of the application development and technical support operations. When not working, Oksana enjoys paper crafting and traveling with her lovely family.

Steven Mounce
Technical Support Manager

Steven joined EMS Technology Solutions in January 2012 to assist customers in getting more out of their software. Steven is originally from Cincinnati, OH, but relocated to Georgia in 1984. He is a graduate of the University or West Georgia and has over 10 years of customer support. Steven also enjoyed his previous experience as a business owner operating The Music Room and multiple Curves locations. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time camping in the woods with his trusty hammock. He is loving husband and father to his wife Diana and son.

Malia joined the team in April 2013 to provide dedicated training to all Operative IQ customers. Her experience includes 5+ years in the Training and Implementation arena as well as several years in Customer Support and Account Management. Her customer focus and experience helps users across the country implement, maintain and expand their use of management software. Malia is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Communications. Outside of Operative IQ, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her 2 boys play soccer and baseball.

Shane Garrison

Shane is the Chairman of the Georgia EMS Preparedness Foundation. As a career paramedic and Vice President of Puckett EMS in Austell, GA he recognized the growing need for tighter controls in the industry. It was his ideas and commitment to improve the inventory and asset management processes that became the cornerstone for the Operative IQ software development. In 2007, Shane founded EMS Technology Solutions to help other agencies tackle operational challenges. Shane has a passion for continuous improvement and enjoys vacationing and fishing in Orange Beach, AL with his wife and three sons.

Tony Dodd

Tony is a founding member of EMS Technology Solutions and the President of DATO Technologies in Powder Springs, GA. A provider of computer technology, network design, installation, and support services, Tony has worked with all aspects of EMS technology including computer aided dispatch, electronic patient care reporting and on-board mobile gateways. It was this valuable experience that positioned Tony to lead the direction of the Operative IQ software’s underlying IT infrastructure. Tony enjoys supporting his wife in her marathon endeavors, gardening, playing with the latest technology gadgets and playing with his baby boy.

Steve PuckettSteve Puckett

Steve is a founding member of EMS Technology Solutions and the President of Puckett EMS in Austell, GA. Steve’s industry experience and financial acumen are great assets to ensuring the primary focus of the company remains on serving the public safety community. New features are often tested first within his operation, allowing valuable feedback and quality assurance. Steve enjoys spending time with his family and the occasional round of golf with friends.
